I was fresh off a bender of art workshops when I painted this. Five years ago painting this bridge beat me up, so from time to time, I like to revisit it to see what I've learned. Creating this was so much fun. I was no longer hung up on creating a perfectly accurate rendering of the structure of the bridge and surrounding areas. I was free to explore "minimalism" and broken color. I filled in a gap in my palette in the yellow color range I didn't realize I had.
