Scioto Meets Rich Street.

In Columbus we have this thing called "Scrawl". It's an annual juried mural painting event put on by the Franklinton Arts District. Around 50 artists are chosen to participate and we hang out on the back lot and paint together while local bands jam from the loading dock and food trucks keep us fed and hydrated. When I found out I was invited to be one of the muralists I had already painted a larger version of this bridge, but wanted to explore what would happen if I made the design more glowy and ambiguous. The result is this little painting that I used as my "go by" to refer to as I painted a 4x4' hunk of plywood during the event.
